The volunteers that assist the ministry effort far out way any amount of money that can be produced.  They are the ones who put a face on mercy.  When Jesus said go and do likewise, His emphasis was on the willingness of ones ability to address the needs of their fellow man... their neighbor.  If you look back on whatever was done for you as an act of kindness in your life, there is a face attached to that act.

"Understanding Hands"

The members of the "Hands Of God Ministries" have made a willing decision to extend the hand of mercy to those around them in need.  It involves our time, our energy, but most importantly... it requires the love from our heart.  We are an organization of ministers and ministries that band together, assisting each other as needed.  In this way better assistance and service can be given to those in need.  The goal is in understanding that following Christ is more than a belief... 

It's a way of life.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

We envision developing a strong christian community where relationships are formed and lives are not taken for granted.  The concept is not new, it stems from the first century church as described in Acts.  What is new is the application of strategy in our ever changing world.  Needs change and the way in which we address those needs must also change accordingly.  Through cooperation, and fellowship, assistance is made possible with an outreach of partnership.  We become...

A Ministry made from Effective Ministries. 

If you are a minister or a ministry organization with a program of ministry in place, or would like to get information and assistance for starting or improving a program; we would ask that you consider joining this ministry.  We want to know about what you're doing that's working and how we might be able to duplicate and expand the effort.  On the other hand, if you're having difficulties that hinder your programs effective operation; we want to know how we can help.  Either way... joining with us is a win win situation for all... those that give a hand, as well as those in need of a hand.  Remember... it is the role of every follower of Christ to minister the Gospel... even if its only to yourself.  In this respect we are all ministers and can share for the glory of God in Christ.
